A Beautiful Day

Today, the temperature has broken records.  It is March 26th, and it reached 80 degrees.  I was very pleased with this.  I never really realized how much the good weather affects my attitude.  I worked this morning, training a girl at Famous Dave's.  I opened the restaurant at 10, and was there until 3.  Upon walking out the doors, the sun washed over me, I was filled with the warmth of the day and the promise of the season, and I was happy.  In that one instant, I was happy with the universe. I always get this way at the beginning of spring; it really is the rebirth of the year. Now, if Susie would only have the baby, it would get even better!  She's ready to pop!
